Bandipora: Following the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADDC) Ali Afsar Khan Saturday presided over a meeting to discuss and review the preparations for the upcoming celebration of the Union Territory (UT) Foundation Day 2023.
The meeting was attended by Nodal Officer Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, ADC Bandipora Umar Shafi, ACR BandiporaShabir Ahmad, DIOBandipora Bilal Ahmad Mir besides other concerned.
The focus of the meeting was to ensure that the UT Foundation Day celebration shall be a memorable and inclusive occasion for all residents of Bandipora.
During the meeting, the ADDC, highlighted the importance of UT Foundation Day in commemorating the formation of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting discussed various aspects of the event, including cultural programs, painting competitions, debates, exhibitions, and public participation.
In addition, the ADDC emphasized the need to engage local artists, artisans, and cultural groups to showcase the rich traditions and artistic talents of the region. He also encouraged active participation from the local community to make the event a vibrant and memorable one.
