Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, DrOwais Ahmad along with SSP BandiporaLakshay Sharma, Friday flagged-off ‘Run for Unity’ from NHPC Bandipora to S.K Stadium Bandipora.
The event was organised by the Police Department, Bandipora. As many as 700 participants from all age groups participated in the run. Among others, ASP BandiporaSandeepBhat, DySP DAR Bandipora, officers of CRPF besides a large number of soldiers, local youth and others participated in the event.
In his address to the participants, DC appreciated the enthusiasm shown by every participant, who were part of the Run for Unity, and in displaying their commitment, spirit to complete the run showcasing love and respect towards the Nation.
SSP Bandipora, while addressing the participants, said that ‘Run for Unity’ marks patriotism living in the hearts of people of Bandipora.
