Jammu : District Magistrate (DM) Jammu Sachin Kumar Vaishya, in exercise of the powers vested under Section 144 of the CrPC, has imposed a ban on transportation of bovine animals from the district.
According to an order issued on Friday, bovine animals such as Cow, Buffalo, Oxen, Bulls, Calvesetc cannot be transported from Jammu to other districts except with permission from the District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate, Jammu.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force for a period of two months from the date of its issuance till the same is rescinded, whichever is earlier.
