Police Flag Day Week-2023: Police organises exhibitions, musical event, Visits families of martyrs in Bla

Srinagar :In the memory of police martyrs who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty the Jammu & Kashmir Police under ‘Police Flag Day Week-2023’ organized exhibition programmes, musical events and top police officials also visited families of martyrs besides distributing tokens of love under civic action programme in Baramulla.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, at Baramulla, Bijhama and Kreeri, exhibitions highlighting the contribution of Police Martyrs was attended by SHO Police Station Baramulla at Sherwani Hall Baramulla, SHO Police Station Bijhama at Bijhama and SHO Police Station Kreeri at Kreeri in which family members of Martyrs and respectables from different areas participated. Floral tributes were also paid to the Martyrs for their sacrifice in the line of duty. During the exhibition, a detailed Power Point Presentation in which a detailed scenario of attaining martyrdom by the martyred police personnel was presented. On the outset of the exhibition, the participants were introduced to the concept of “Savera Cell”. Officers thanked participants for their active participation.
Similarly at Gulmarg, musical event was organized in which police band and Orchestra team of District Police Baramulla performed and entertained the audience which was attended by SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpure alongwith SDPO Tangmarg, SHO Police Station Gulmarg, tourists and people from all walks of life of sub division Uri.
Meanwhile, Police team led by Dy SP Prob. Naveed Shokat, SHO Police Station Tangmarg and SHO Police Station Bijhama visited families of martyred Police Personnels of Tangmarg and Bijhama. During the visit, the sacrifices made by the martyred Police personnels in the line of duty were highlighted besides which educational kits were also distributed among the families of martyrs as a token of love.
