8 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized in Jammu: Police

Jammu: Polce on Wednesday said that it has seized eight (8) vehicles for being involved in illegal mining activities in different parts of Jammu city.
In a statement issued from District Police Headquarters Jammu Police said Police teams of Police Station Nagrota, Police Station Miran Sahib, Police Station Gangyal, Police Post Talab Tillo and Police Post Bathindi acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized eight vehicles for being involved in illegal mining.
In it’s statement Police said that vehicles seized by it include one Tipper bearing Registration No JK02CT-6827, by Police Station Nagrota, Three vehicles, i.e. one tractor bearing Chasis No MBNGAALUPMRA03589, 391306/E9807281 and BNBEBBAZND02218 by Police Station Miran Sahib, One Dumper without Registration No. by Police Station Gangyal, One Tractor Trolley bearing chassis No. JK02CE- 9734, by Police Post Talab Tillo, One tipper bearing Registration No JK02CW 9187 by Police Post Bathindi, and One dumper bearing Registration No JK08M 9286 by Police Post Belicharana.
Stating that DMO Jammu was also intimated about the action taken by police team in different parts of Jammu city, Police in it’s statement further said that recoveries were made by SHO Police Station Nagrota Inspr Vishav Partap Singh, SHO Police Station Miran Sahib Inspr Bopinder Singh, SHO Police Station Gangyal Inspr Ajay Singh Chib, I/C Police Post Talab Tillo Police Sub Inspector Sonu Choudhary, I/C Police Post Bathindi Sub Inspector Shakil Ahmed and I/C Police Post Belicharana Sub Inspector Sugreev Kumar in their respective jurisdictions.
