Dr Harbakash Singh chairs education review meeting in Tral

Pulwama: The DDC member Tral and Chairman Standing Committee for Health & Education in Pulwama district, Dr Harbakash Singh on Friday chaired an education review meeting of Zone Lurgam in Aripal Tral.
During the meeting, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama, Abdul Qayoom Naqwi, DPEO Pulwama, Manzoor Ahmad Khan, ZEO Lurgam, Riyaz Ahmad Mir and HOIs of govt schools of Lurgam zone were present.
On the occasion, the Chairman Standing Committee for Health & Education, Dr Harbakash Singh & other participating officers discussed about the need and importance of improving the education system in far off areas of Tral.
They also talked about the lack of staff members in some schools, besides seeking the ways to redress such issues at the earliest.
Meanwhile, a cultural event was also conducted by the students, wherein the participants have shown exhilarating performance to enthrall the audience.
Talking to media, Dr Singh said that education in govt schools have apparently improved, while he assured that he will continue to work for the betterment of education in schools based in Aripal tehsil of Tral.
