DIC Kulgam organizes Awareness prog at ITI Kund Kulgam

Kulgam : The District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam on Thursday organized an awareness programme at Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Kund Kulgam.
During the programme, resource persons delivered lectures on, New Central Sector Scheme for industrial development of J&K 2021, MSME, PMEGP and other schemes and programmes of the government.
General Manager DIC, Bashir Ahmad spoke about industrialization and its importance and also sensitized the participants about the different schemes of Industries and Commerce Department and recently launched PM Vishwakarma Scheme.
He also sensitized the participants about prevailing drug addiction and urged them to stay away from such activities and be focused to achieve their goals.
He also held a special session regarding career counseling during the programme.
The programme was followed by a question answer session and witnessed a threadbare discussion between the participants and speakers of DIC regarding the hiccups which are being faced by the entrepreneurs while applying/availing benefits under various schemes of DIC.
Principal ITI Kund, Er. Ishfaq Ahmad Wani delivered a lecture on Skill Development and also informed the trainees about new skill development courses to be introduced in ITI Kund.
