Ganderbal :: District Social Welfare Office Ganderbal in collaboration with DHEW Ganderbal on Wednesday organised sensitization cum awareness programme
regarding Atal Vayu Abhudhyay Youjana sub-scheme of state action plan for Senior Citizens.
The event took place at Girls Higher Secondary School Safapora where the focus was on honoring the rights and facilities of senior citizens.
Speakers on the occasion shared their insights and respect for the elderly.
Speakers also highlighted the importance and create awareness about the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.
The event concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and unity, as participants pledged to be advocates for senior citizens’ rights and promote their well-being within their communities.
