Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday signed first of its kind Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Eterno Infotech Pvt. Ltd. the owner of Dailyhunt, Josh and One India Social media platforms in a function held at Police Headquarters Srinagar. The Director General of Police, J&K Dilbag Singh who was the Chief Guest presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion, the DGP thanked the team Eterno Infotech Pvt. Ltd for collaborating with J&K Police with a commitment to tell the success stories of Jammu and Kashmir Police to the large number of citizens of the country. He said that Jammu and Kashmir Police is one of the finest police forces of the country which is known for its valour and sacrifices and telling its success stories to the world around would be a morale booster for the force.
Recalling an occasion of DGPs conference, the DGP said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had once desired to have films made on the commitment and valour of Jammu and Kashmir Police. He hoped that with signing of MoU with these media platforms, the stories of J&K Police could reach the people of our country in a befitting manner. He however, emphasized upon the officers working on ground to feed the content of success stories on different fronts to these platforms on a daily basis.
Besides the ADGP (Headquarters/Coordination) PHQ M.K Sinha in his address thanked Eterno Infotech Pvt.Ltd for signing the MoU with J&K Police to make public the inspiring stories of this force. He said that Jammu and Kashmir Police has been working with utmost commitment, dedication and valour for sovereignty and integrity of the country and have never got time to express its working to the people of the country. Since Naya Jammu and Kashmir is shaping up, it is time to tell the world about the ultimate sacrifices made by this force. He said that there are a number of untold stories of this force which he hoped could reach to our people through these platforms.
On the occasion Executive Director, Eterno Infotech N Ravanan said that it is a matter of great pride & privilege for us to be collaborating and associating with the J&K Police. “I believe it’s our duty to take all these stories of ‘what great work J&K Police is doing in building the nation & Naya Jammu & Kashmir’ to take every nook & corner of India. While ensuring to do justice to the commitment, N Ravanna thanked the DGP, J&K Dilbag Singh, ADGP Hqrs PHQ M K Sinha and other senior officers of Police Headquarters for the opportunity.
The AIG Communication PHQ Manoj Kumar Pandit while presenting the vote of thanks gave brief information about the various media projects undertaken by Jammu and Kashmir Police with various partners to present the bravery, sacrifices and commitment of J&K Police to the world. He also on behalf of Jammu and Kashmir Police Signed the MoU with Executive Director, Eterno Infotech N Ravanan.
The collaboration is aimed to reach maximum citizens of the country & abroad with the unsaid stories of bravery, sacrifices and commitment of J&K Police and also to share important information related to safety and security of citizens. Eterno Infotech Pvt Ltd will launch JKPs profile on its three platforms i.e Dailyhunt, OneIndia & Josh and the work of J&K Police will be published across multiple regional languages ensuring maximum impact and reach among regional audiences also. Through this collaborative effort, Jammu and Kashmir Police will enhance communication with the community, create awareness and facilitate meaningful discussions on topics of significance across diverse audience segments.
Present on the occasion were also ADGP Hqrs/Coord, PHQ, M.K Sinha, Executive Director Eterno Infotech Pvt Ltd. N Ravanan, AIG CIV PHQ Dr. G.V Sundeep Chakravarthy, AIG (Training/ Policy) PHQ J.S Johar, AIG (Personnel) PHQ Virinder Singh Manhas, AIG (Building) PHQ Amit Bhasin, AIG (Tech/Comm) Manoj Kumar Pandit, Head of Partnerships, Keshav Anand, Lead Partnerships Ms Reshma Sharma Malhotra and other officers of Police Headquarters were present on the occasion.
