Distt Admin Kishtwar paves the way for uninterrupted devt, empowers road infrastructure in the township

Kishtwar: In a commendable stride towards progress, the District Administration Kishtwar, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav has successfully spearheaded the removal of encroachments to unveil the Lanyal road in Kishtwar, facilitating seamless connectivity for all residents.
Building on this momentum, the District Administration is now directing its focus towards unlocking critical roads around Kishtwar township.
The DC Kishtwar undertook a visit to Kishtwar town, personally overseeing the ongoing efforts to eliminate encroachments and clear obstacles to complete these vital roads.
Accompanied by SDM Arun Badyal , Tehsildar Kishtwar Muneeb Umar, SHO Kishtwar, AEE PWD, and officials from Revenue , PWD and PMGSY, the DC meticulously inspected the areas to ensure swift removal of encroachments and to pave the way for the completion of crucial road infrastructure.
During the inspection, Deputy Commissioner interacted with the residents and listened to the issues and grievances related to ongoing roads.
He directed Tehsildar Kishtwar to expedite the removal of encroachments in the town, emphasizing a time-bound approach to facilitate the hassle-free completion of upgradation works. Simultaneously, PWD and PMGSY authorities were instructed to expedite pending works once the encroachments and hurdles are cleared by the administration.
In a public appeal, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar urged citizens to refrain from engaging in illegal encroachments and encouraged cooperation in the ongoing developmental works, particularly the road projects crucial for the district’s comprehensive development.
