Srinagar: Under the aegis of Civic Action Programme, DIG NKR Baramulla Vivek Gupta distributed Wheelchairs among specially-abled persons of North Kashmir Range Baramulla at District Police Lines Sopore.
According to a statement issued from Zonal police Headquarter Srinagar, the Distribution ceremony was attended by SSP Sopore Shabir Nawab, SSP Baramulla Amod Nagpure, SSP Bandipora Lakshay Sharma, SDPO Sopore Dr. Raies Ahmad, DySP DAR Sopore Dr. Hilal Ahmad Hilal & other officers of Police District Sopore.
On this occasion, DIG NKR Baramulla interacted with all the specially-abled persons and assured them that J&K Police will always play its eminent role in providing every possible support to the needy people. He also asked the beneficiaries not to allow the poverty and orphanage to fall prey off ignorance & illiteracy. Finally, DIG NKR Baramulla ensured all the beneficiaries that J&K Police will always stay active in their lives in pursuing their dream of dignified life. The participants requested DIG NKR Baramulla that such more events should be organized to have good interaction and relationship with common masses and police as well.
