Aazadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav: Police organises Awareness Prog for Students in Shopian

Srinagar: Police in Shopian under the aegis of Aazadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav organised an awareness Programme for the Students at Police Station Shopian here on Thursday.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, the awareness programme (Girls self-defense Training Programme) was attended by more than 100 students of various schools of Shopian district. While speaking on the occasion, SSP Shopian appreciated the success and intelligence of students. She also stressed upon the young budding students of the district to allow their minds to explore their own thoughts and imagination through the medium of art positive thinking’s, constructive approaches and through Constructive methods for betterment of nation. She also impressed upon young youth to shun path of negative thoughts, remain away from drugs and prove responsible citizens. Additionally, she imparted few training methods to young girls for their self-defense and combat.
The SSP Shopian along with other officers wished them good luck for their future. Participants were urged and guided not to indulge in any anti-social activity and were motivated to take part in curricular as well as Co-curricular activities to exhibit their talent.
Besides, the ASP Shopian, DySP Hqrs Shopian, SHO PS Shopian and many other officers delivered lectures on the occasion. They guided the young budding participants about their roles and were counselled for their future, job securing approaches and for becoming a good and responsible citizen of the nation.
