DC Rajouri kick-starts work on JJM Water Supply Scheme at Dassal

Rajouri: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, with a resolute commitment to elevate water accessibility and sanitation in the region, has kick started work on the pivotal Water Supply Scheme Dassal under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
In an enthusiastic gathering of local residents, the Deputy Commissioner extended his heartfelt congratulations to mark this momentous occasion. Present at the ceremony were the Tehsildar Rajouri, Varinder Sharma and Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Department Rajouri, Ashwini Sharma.
The Dassal Water Supply project, with an estimated cost of 5.50 crores, stands as a beacon of progress. Its primary objective is to provide functional household tap connections (FHTC) to a total of 451 households, thereby benefiting approximately 3000 individuals in the area.
The DC commended the unwavering support of the local residents and underlined the profound significance of project like these in elevating the overall quality of life for the entire community. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to delivering clean and accessible drinking water to every resident, perfectly aligning with the ambitious goals of the Jal Jeevan Mission.
The initiation of this transformative project signifies a monumental stride in the journey of development, heralding a brighter and healthier future for the people of Rajouri. With these dedicated efforts, the Deputy Commissioner paves the way for a more prosperous and hygienic living environment in the region, ushering in a new era of well-being and progress.
The project represents a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to provide clean and accessible drinking water to every household in the region. It reinforces the dedication of the Government to the welfare of its citizens and the realization of the goals of the Jal Jeevan Mission.
