Srinagar: S.J.M Gillani, Addl. DGP Armed J&K felicitated Mountain Rescue Team of J&K Police who have been awarded 2 DG’s Disc with Commendation Rolls and 12 Commendation Rolls by DG NDRF in recognition to their outstanding performance for imparting Advanced Mountain Rescue Tactical Training to NDRF personnel.
According to a statement issued from J&K Armed Police Headquarters Srinagar, here the J&K MRT personnel who have been awarded DG’s Disc with Commendation Rolls from DG NDRF are DySP (Sports) APHQ Kuldeep Handoo & Inspr. Ram Singh (I/C JKP MRT) whereas officials who have been awarded DG’s Commendation Rolls from DG NDRF are HC Falail Singh, HC Nazir Ahmad Khan, SgCt Bhushan Kumar, SgCt Sajad Hussain, SgCt Mohd Saleem, SgCt Tahir Ahmad, SgCt Nizam-ud-din, SgCt G.H.Mohd, SgCt Angreze Singh, Const. Rahul Khajuria & SPO Manik Slathia.
Besides, the ADGP Armed also congratulated SPO Manik Slathia of J&K Mountain Rescue Team, who successfully scaled Mt. Kang Yatse 2 in Markha Valley Leh Ladakh 6250 mtr (20500 ft) in an expedition organized by Mountaineering association of J&K on 13th August, 2023. While congratulating the MRT, ADGP Armed hoped that the team will continue to work with same zeal & bring more glory to the J&K Police in the future times.
The felicitation ceremony among others was attended by S/ Mahmood Ahmed SSP Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K, Syed Sajad Hussain Pvt. Secretary to ADGP Armed J&K, besides officials of J&K Mountain Rescue Team.
