GDC Marh gets registration with JK Bharat Scouts & Guides

Jammu: Government Degree College Marh has secured registration with JK Bharat Scouts & Guides sending a wave of jubilation among the students. GDC Marh in an educational institution known for its commitment to holistic development and community engagement. The students (Rangers and Rovers) of the college expressed jubilation on getting associated with Bharat Scouts and Guides, under the leadership of the College Principal Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul and expressed their thankfulness for helping the students for bright prospects.
This event marks a significant milestone in the mission to empower students with not only academic excellence but also essential life skills along with leadership abilities and a deep sense of social responsibility. Principal Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul’s visionary leadership aligns perfectly with the college ethos of nurturing well-rounded individuals. Dr. Balwinder Saini (HOD Chemistry) was nominated and subsequently selected as Rover leader. A total of 3 Units have been raised out of which two are of Ranger. It is pertinent to mention here that GDC Mahanpur was also registered with BS&G by the Principal Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul.
The activities under BS&G shall expose the students to new horizons of comradeship, feeling of togetherness, National Integration, Inter-Religious faith and personality development for a strong India.
