Udhampur: District Development Council Chairman Lal Chand along with Deputy Commissioner, SaloniRai and other officers distributed allotment/lease orders to six landless beneficiaries of the PradhanMantriAwasYojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) at a ceremony held in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex, on Monday.
BDC Chairman, Balwan Singh; Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral and other officers were present.
During the interaction with the beneficiaries, the Chairman DDC and DC extended congratulations to all the recipients. They emphasized the need to expedite the identification and verification process, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive their entitlements promptly. They also underscored the importance of raising public awareness about the eligibility criteria to ensure that only eligible individuals come forward to process their cases.
