DC B’pora reviews preparedness for Swachhta Hi Seva, Sankalp Saptaah ,other ongoing campaigns

Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad Friday convened a meeting to assess the preparedness for the upcoming Sankalp Saptaah initiative, as well as to review the status of ongoing campaigns, Swachhta Hi Sewa and Ayushman Bhava.
The meeting was virtually attended by all the district officers including ADDC Bandipora Ali Afsar Khan, Nodal Officer Coordination/ACD Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, ACR Bandipora besides all the BDOs and other concerned
It was given out that ‘Sankalp Saptaah’ is linked to the effective implementation of Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP). It aims to improve governance at the block level in order to enhance the quality of life of people.
The Nodal Officer Coordination informed the meeting that Sankalp Saptaah, a week-long campaign is set to commence from October 03 and shall culminate on October 09. It was however informed that the Prime Minister is set to launch the programme on September 30. He further informed that during the campaign a series of activities are scheduled to be carried by different departments to further strengthen the agendas of Aspirational Block Programme in the district.
Dr Owais urged all participants to actively engage in and support the activities planned for the week.
During the meeting, the progress of Swachhta Hi Sewa, the nationwide cleanliness drive, was also discussed. The officials presented updates on the cleanliness activities carried out in the district.
Additionally, the Ayushman Bhava campaign, which focuses on promoting health and wellness, was also reviewed. The DC stressed on the importance of healthcare and encouraged the healthcare sector and other organizations to collaborate for the well-being of the citizens of Bandipora.
