Srinagar|Sept,30: Police on Saturday said that it has in joint operation with army killed two militants during an infiltration attempt in kumkadi area of Machal sector in Kupwara district.
In a post on “X” formerly called “Twitter” the Kashmir Zone Police said “Two militants have been killed in a Based on an intelligence input provided by Kupwara Police,in a joint operation carried by Army and Police in kumkadi area of Machal sector,2 infiltrating militants have been killed so far.The operation is still in progress”. In yet another post on “X” the Kashmir Zone Police said “So far, 02 Aks, 4AKMags, 90rds, 01 Pak Pistol, 01 Pouch and Rs. 2100 Pak currency etc has been recovered from encounter site. Search continues”.
