Shopian: The District Industries Centre, Shopian in collaboration with Govt. Polytechnic College, Shopian on Monday organized an awareness programme regarding employment generation schemes in College Auditorium.
The programme witnessed the presence of esteemed guests from DIC Shopian, students and faculty of the institution.
Er. Nasrullah Mubarak Bhat, Industrial Promotion Officer, DIC Shopian was the resource person for the session.
On the occasion, students were apprised about different Employment Generation Schemes like PMEGP, MSME, PM-Vishwakarma of the Govt. for self-employment.
An interactive session was also conducted wherein students and faculty cleared their doubts about the various aspects of employment schemes.
The event was graced by the Principal GPC Shopian, Er Manzoor Ahmad whose invaluable insights added a significant layer of expertise to the discussion.
The programme ended with a resolve to continue collaboration with different departments for enabling students in shaping their careers.
