Comr Secy RDD holds awareness camp, inspects SBM assets in Bhaderwah

Bhaderwah: Commissioner Secretary, Rural Development Department and Panchayat Raj, Mandeep Kaur, on Saturday conducted an awareness camp at Drudhu, Bhaderwah.
The purpose of the camp was to educate the local residents about various government schemes and initiatives related to rural development and Panchayat Raj.
Mandeep Kaur also inspected the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) assets being created by the department at Bhaderwah. She assessed progress on implementation of SBM in the region and interacted with local officials and residents to understand their experiences and challenges.
Mandeep Kaur, while highlighting the significance of such visits in boosting development profile of any region, said that the government is committed towards rapid rural development with focus on unattended parts. She defined active participation of local communities as of utmost importance in achieving sustainable development goals.
Commissioner Secretary was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, ADDC, Pran Singh, ACD, Phulail Singh, ACP, Ashfaq Khanji, BDOs besides Sarpanches, and Panches of the area.
