Budgam,Sept,24: Police on Sunday said that it has solved a burglary case by arresting three accused persons involved in the commission of crime and also recovered stolen property from their possession within two days after the compliant was received.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Kashmir Police said that Police Station Magam on 20th September received a written complaint from the owner of MB Traders, Stating therein that during intervening night of 19th and 20th September some burglars have barged into his office at Agrikalan Magam and took away cigarette cartons worth ₹5 lakh.
Stating that a case vide FIR No. 144/2023 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Magam besides which investigation was also initiated, Police in it’s above referred statement further said that during the course of investigation, after strenuous efforts, officers zeroed in on three suspects identified as Mohd Yaseen Hajam @Cobra son of Ghulam Mustafa Hajam resident of Trikolbal Pattan, Javid Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh resident of Churpora Narbal and Muzaffar Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohd Dar resident of Reshipora Hanjivera Pattan. Police in it’s statement furthermore said that during questioning, the said accused admitted their involvement in the commission of crime, besides which stolen goods were also recovered on their disclosure. In the concluding para of it’s above quoted police that thee above named accused have been arrested and shifted to police station where they remain in custody, adding therein that further investigation of the case is still going on.
