CO 11th Bn extents in-situ promotion, Sanctions 3.60 lacs Welfare loan to the deserving officials

Anantnag: Departmental Promotion Committee Meeting and Unit Welfare Committee Meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Sandeep Kumar Mehta, SSP (Commanding Officer) 11th Bn at Battalion Headquarters Anantnag.
During In-situ Promotion Committee Meeting, seven cases were taken up for discussion which were due for In-situ promotion, out of which only two officials namely Follower (Cook) Bashir Ahmad No. F-09/IRP 11th Bn, PID No. ARP-952343 and Follower (Washerman) Fayaz Ahmad No. F-44/IRP 11th Bn, PID No. ARP-055679 qualified as per the criteria framed by the Police Headquarters J&K.
During the Unit Welfare Committee Meeting, Welfare loan to the tune of Rs. 3.60 lacs has been sanctioned in favour of 09 officials of the unit.
An amount of Rs. 50,000/- was sanctioned in favour an official for the marriage of his son, whereas, an amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- was sanctioned in favour of (05) personnel for self treatment and medical treatment of their dependents.
An amount of Rs. 40,000/- was sanctioned in favour of one official of the unit for higher education of his ward.
An amount of Rs.50,000/- was sanctioned in favour of one official of this unit for self marriage.
In addition to above, an amount of Rs. 20,000/- was sanctioned in favour of an official to meet his social obligation.
The sanctioning of Welfare loan out of the unit Welfare fund is a continuous process and a facility to the officers / Officials of J&K Police, so as to ensure them to take care of themselves and their family’s contingencies.
Chairman of the Committees Sandeep Kumar Mehta expressed satisfaction over timely In-situ promotions of the Officials & also issued the formal orders for the disbursement of Welfare loan to the deserving ones of IR 11th Bn Anantnag.
