3 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by PS Meeran Sahib Jammu: Police

Jammu : Police on Thursday said that Police Station Merran Sahib Jammu has seized three vehicles for being involved in the illegal mining .
In a statement issued here on Thursday Police said that in a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of Police Station Miran Sahib and Police Post Jourian acted stringently on the specific inputs , raided a location in their respective areas and seized three vehicles involved in illegal mining.
Stating that three vehicles seized during raids include One tractor trolley bearing Chasis no. FZZDF55085253, by Police Station Miran Sahib Jammu and Two tractor trollies without Registration Nos by Police Post Jourian, Police in it’s statement further said that the recoveries were made by SHO Police Station Miran Sahib Inspr Bopinder Singh and I/C Police Post Jourian PSI Karnail Singh in their respective jurisdictions.
In the concluding para of it’s statement Police said that DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same, adding therein that the mining was done in violation of order of Jammu & Kashmir High Court, adding therein thatin order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
