Srinagar| Sept,20 : The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) on Wednesday said it is very surprised, shocked at pained over the delaying tactics of the authorities of school education department  in clearing the In-situ promotion cases  of reduced RReTs, adding therein that despite the clear-cut instructions from the  CAT for the  resolution, the Chief  Education Officers (CEOs) have not taken any  concrete  steps  to clear the time-bound files of reduced RReTs. Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee Chairman (EJCC) Ajaz Khan has also extended full support to the proposed protest program of JKTJAC.
In his statement issued here on Wednesday the TJAC Chairman Saleem Sagar said that it is a matter of great concern that more than five years have passed since the due date of their In-situ promotion, and these teachers are still waiting for the same. These teachers are suffering badly and facing financial losses every month, as their counterparts are receiving about  Rs. 7000 more monthly sslary when  compared to their salary.
JKTJAC Chairman Saleem Sagar  appealed the concerned CEOs especially the Chief Education Officers of Baramulla and Kupwara districts for the clearance of the In Situ promotion cases of these teachers.” If the authorities again failed to resolve the matter before 25th of September”,he said, “JKTJAC will be forced to go for a protest at” District headquarters.” The chairman JKTJAC has also asked the cadre of the TJAC to get ready for the protest in the first phase at Kupwara on 26th of September and 28th of September at Baramulla, if the issue of these teachers could not be resolved before the the said date. Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee Chairman (EJCC) Ajaz Khan has also extended full support  to  the proposed protest programme of JKTJAC and strongly appealed to the concerned authorities  for the resolution of genuine demands of JKTJAC without any further delay.
