Police organises awareness-cum-training workshop on HIV/AIDS in G’balj

Srinagar: Police in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society on Monday organised awareness cum training workshop on HIV/AIDS at DPL Ganderbal in which officers & jawans participated.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar during the programme, the medical experts including Astt. Director Lab Services (JKACS) Dr. Imtiyaz Khan & Asst. Director Main Streaming (JKACS) Dr. Sabiha delivered lectures about the transmission of the disease & it’s preventive measures. Many questions were put forth by the participants about the spreading of the disease which were patiently heard by the panel of doctors. The health experts during their speech, elaborated some Do’s & Don’ts to prevent the spread of the disease.
Later, DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal Nazir Ahmad thanked the panel of doctors for appraising the participants about the transmission of HIV/AIDS. He also thanked all the participants for showing their presence in the awareness training workshop.
