DC Poonch hosts Interaction-cum-Felicitation function for new JKAS Qualifiers

District Officers, officials engage in inspiring conversations, cultural performances mark the occasion

Poonch: Deputy Commissioner of Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary organized a grand interaction-cum-felicitation ceremony at his residence to honor the recently qualified candidates of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services.
The event was accompanied by a delightful dinner party, celebrating the achievements of the candidates from the Poonch district.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Tehsildar Haveli, Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner engaged in meaningful interactions with the successful candidates, who introduced themselves and shared their stories of success. The Deputy Commissioner expressed his admiration for their accomplishments and inquired about their areas of interest in administration. He extended his heartfelt wishes for their promising futures in the public service.
The felicitation program witnessed the active participation of several district officers, who took the opportunity to interact with the candidates. They inquired about the candidates’ backgrounds, their chosen subjects, and their experiences in preparing for the examination. The district officers emphasized the importance of honesty and dedication in their future endeavors, emphasizing the need for sincerity and commitment in their administrative roles.
In a gesture of appreciation, the Deputy Commissioner, along with the district officers, presented mementos to the newly qualified candidates. The felicitation was a symbolic recognition of their hard work and dedication, marking the beginning of their journey as public servants.
To add vibrancy to the occasion, a colorful cultural program was organized, featuring performances by Bandish baaz and Guitarist masror kazmi Led by sayed omar local artists from Surankote. The audience was enthralled by the captivating songs and artistic presentations, as officers and newly qualified candidates actively participated by singing songs and reciting poetry, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed officials, including ADDC, Sandesh Kumar Sharma; ADC, Tahir Mustafa Malik; PO ICDS, Khalid Hussain Wafa; CEO Tourism (PDA), Dr. Mohd. Tanveer; ACD, Abid Hussain Shah; Joint Director Education, Mohammad Ashraf; ACP, Naheem Un Nissa Bhatti; SDM Mendhar, Jhangir Khan, DTO, Rashid Dostum; Tehsildar Haveli Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak, STO/AD CAPD, Waheed Ahmed, Tehsildar Mankote, Maroof Qadri, Naib Tehsildar Randhir Singh, Maroof Khan, and Anmol Singh, along with other district officers.
The interaction-cum-felicitation ceremony provided a platform for the Deputy Commissioner and district officers to engage with and encourage the newly qualified candidates.
