Challan produced against a militant associate, 2 other slain militants: Police

Srinagar: Police on Friday said that it has produced a challan in case FIR number 97/2023 of Police Station Pulwama in designated NIA Court against a militant associate and other two slain militants.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that a case has been challaned against a militant associate namely Ishfaq Ahmad Wani S/o Gh. Nabi R/o Chirat Arigam Pulwama under section 4/5 Explosive Substance Act, 18, 20, 23 & 39 UA (P) Act who has been arrested in the instant case on 07/05/2023 and is presently on judicial remand up to 25th September and is lodged in Sub Jail Pulwama under the orders of the Designated NIA Court Pulwama and (Abate Challan) against other two slain militants namely Jamsheed Ahmad Magray S/o Ab. Hameed R/o Rajpora and Hanan Bin Yaqoob S/o Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat R/o Kareemabad under section 4/5 Explosive Substance Act, 18, 20, 38 UA (P) Act, who were killed in an encounter with Police and security forces at village Drach Shopian on 5th October last year.
