Baramulla| September, 14: The first Ayushman Bhava Mela was conducted at Community Health Centre (CHC) in Kreeri area of North Kashmir’s district Baramulla.
An official said that, it is in continuation of govt order where GMC Baramulla has to adopt 7 CHCs from district Baramulla and 3 CHCs from district Bandipora.
He said that Ayushman Bhava Mela was conducted in collaboration with CMO BARAMULLA, & BMO Kreeri, where in expert team of doctors (superspacialty) from GMC Baramulla participated.
Nodal officer from GMC BARAMULLA PROF Abdul Majeed HOD PSM and Medical Superintendent GMC BARAMULLA attended & monitored the mela, while a huge number of people visited the mela and were benefited on the doorstep.
General awareness was also given to general public regarding NCD, MENTAL HEALTH, ANEAMIA, NASHA MUKHT BARAMULA, TB FREE BARAMULA, ABHA GENERATION and Sanitation. Meanwhile, More than 700 persons got free treatment and diagnostics during the mela.
