GDC Ramgarh organises seminar on “Entrepreneurship & Startup”

Samba: Government Degree College Ramgarh, in collaboration with JK Entrepreneurship Development Institute Samba, on Wednesday organised a one day seminar on “Entrepreneurship and Start-Up”.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra.
At the outset, a welcome address was delivered by Prof. Seema Sharma, convenor of the event. She said that in an age defined by dynamic market shifts and technological revolutions, the spirit of entrepreneurship continues to be a beacon of hope and innovation.
Vishal Ray, Incharge Start-Up and incubation Centre, and Divisional Officer Jammu and Virpartap Singh Slathia, District Nodal Officer, Samba were the resource persons.
Vishal Ray, in his presentation, shed light on the importance of innovation in education. He said that as he looks to the future, it is clear that entrepreneurship and start-ups will remain at the forefront of progress. They hold the promise of a brighter, more innovative future for all.
Virpartap Singh Slathia, also said that start-up are not just business ventures, they are the vanguards of innovation and proponents of visionary ideas.
Dr. Aditi Khajuria, convener of IQAC cell said “We are dedicated to forcing innovation, in empowering entrepreneurship and driving positive change in our community.”
The event was conducted by Kirandeep Kour and Chahat of Semester 3rd.
The faculty members present on the occasion were Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Prof. Seema Sharma, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dr. Shamsher Lal, Prof. Risha Kumari, Dr. Ekta Rani, Dr. Paramjeet Kour, Dr. Shivali Choudhary, Priya Sharma, Sunil Kumar and Anil Sharma. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Aditi Khajuria.
