Dir Panchayati Raj tours Inderwal, Mughal Maidan Blocks of Distt Kishtwar

Kishtwar: Director Panchayati Raj J&K Khalid Majeed-during his tour to District Kishtwar visited Inderwal and Mughal Maidan Blocks.
ACD Kishtwar, Manoj Kumar; BDO Inderwal, Tasleem Wani; BDO Mughamaidan, Dheeraj Singh and RDD Staff of both the Blocks were present during the tour programme.
The Director inspected the assets in Panchayat Chatroo Lower B and Panchayat Sigdi B1 created under SBM-G including Block level Plastic Waste Management Units, Panchayat level solid waste management units, Shredder Machine, Community Sanitary Complexes, Visual cleanliness and IEC activities. He interacted with sanitary workers as well as PRIs and public and took feedback on what changes they have witnessed during and after villages becoming Model under ODF Plus.
The People apprised him about soakage pits, compost pits, Door to Door waste collection and other facilities and expressed their satisfaction over the sea of change in terms of cleanliness in villages.
He also inspected the beautification work carried out under 14th FC at Amrit Sarovar TRC Chatroo and at Amrit Sarovar TRC Mughalmaidan and passed necessary directions to the concerned officers.
