Bhrastachar Mukt Week: Series of activities organised at Shopian

Shopian: Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb and as part of week-long Bhrastachar Mukt J&K campaign, Special camps were on Wednesday organised by various departments, including Revenue, Sheep Husbandry, JJM, Animal Husbandry, PMGSY, RDD, YSS, MC and others across the district.
The aim to observe this week-long programme is to deliberate on various forms of corruption and their socio-economic consequences so as to promote transparent and accountable governance.
Departments held Pledge Ceremonies, grievance redressal camps, awareness programmes on online services, seminars and rallies at various places.
Various issues and grievances of public importance were listened to for redressal during the conduct of camps and people were sensitized about new interventions of the government towards the interest of good governance.
During the programme, participants were also briefed about various online services of the Jal Shakti Department, Revenue, Sheep/Animal Husbandry Husbandry and other departments.
PRI members, officials, Pani Samiti Members and the public participated in large numbers in these programmes.
