Srinagar|Sept,6: Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) Aijaz Ahmad Khan on Wednesday extended EJCC support to the Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) over it’s demand for in-situ promotions of reduced RReTs.
Stating that despite the clear cut instructions by Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) over in-situ promotions of reduced RReTs the Schools Education Department yet to take measures for clearing the time bound files of reduced RReTs the Chairman EJCC in his statement while expressing his serious concern over the issue said that these teachers are waiting for the in-situ promotions and suffer financial losses despite qualifying for the said promotions five years back stating therein that their counterparts Rs7000/- more than them in salaries. Appealing the Principal Secretary School Education Department and Director School Education Kashmir to issue clear cut directions to concerned Education Officers (CEOs) to in-situ clear promotions of all reduced RReTs the Chairman EJCC said that EJCC said that EJCC would joint protests of JKTJAC at press Enclave Srinagar and Directorate of School Education if the School Education Department does not take a final call on in-situ promotions of reduced RReTs at an earliest.
