Week-long ‘Bharshtachar Mukt J&K’ campaign takes-off in Kupwara

Kupwara: The ‘Bhrashtachar Mukt J&K’ campaign was on Monday kick-started with a pledge ceremony which was attended by all the officers and officials of District Administration at Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex Kupwara.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan stressed upon the Officers/Officials to be responsive in public service delivery and grievances redressal.
It is our duty to listen to the people patiently and dispose-off all genuine grievances in a time bound manner, said the DC.
She urged upon all the officers to create a Nodal Point of Contact in their respective offices for Coordination with the control room, set up for the purpose in the DC Office.
The DC asked officers to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations and contribute to the establishment of a corruption free environment in all offices.
She emphasised upon the officers to achieve the daily targets set forth by her office for the grievances registered on JK-IGRAM, strictly.
She exhorted all officers and officials to make themselves aware of all kinds of corruption and ensure that no one should fall prey to corruption.
Meanwhile, similar pledge taking ceremonies were also held in District Offices, Sectoral offices and different institutions across Kupwara district wherein the Officer/officials took pledge to make Kupwara district corruption free.
Special sessions were held in all government offices and institutions with regard to sensitization of employees about creation of a corruption free environment.
Special Gramsabhas were held across all Panchayats and Municipal councils of the district by involving PRIs, Councilors, Prabhari Officers, MGNREGA workers, SHGs, Pani Samitis, and other stakeholders.
