SP Kulgam connects with community in Redwani, Khudwani, Qaimoh, other areas

Amid dry, hot and humid weather, hundreds of people including men, women and children mostly bare foot visited the revered suffi Saint Shrine Sheikh Noor-Ud-Wali popularly known as Nund Resh at Charar-e- Sharief in Budgam district on Sunday for prayers to seek rainfall to end the drought season in Kashmir valley. Srinagar: Police in Kulgam organized a Padh Yatra/foot march in Khudwani, Redwani, Qaimoh, Hawoora, and Rampora villages. The initiative was led by Superintendent of Police Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal , along with DDC Frisal Anaytulla Rather, Addl SP NHW Qazigund Shabir Ahmad, SDPO Qazigund, DySP PC Kulgam, and other senior police officers.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar during the Padh Yatra, SP Kulgam engaged with the respected citizens of these villages, providing them with an open platform to voice their concerns and grievances. The community members welcomed the police officers warmly and expressed their concerns openly. SP Kulgam patiently listened to their grievances and assured them that Police is readily available to assist and serve the community whenever needed.
Besides, the response from the local population was overwhelmingly positive, with a substantial number of residents actively participating in the Padh Yatra. The procession passed through Khudwani, Redwani, Hawoora, ultimately concluding at Rampora Qaimoh.
Moreover, the general public in the region expressed their heartfelt appreciation and applause for SP Kulgam’s proactive outreach and commitment to addressing their grievances
