3-Month Skill Dev Training Prog on ‘Automation Service Technician’ commences at Ang

Anantnag: The District Employment and Counseling Centre (DE&CC) Anantnag, with ITI Anantnag as the training Provider, on Saturday launched a transformative three months skill development training program on ‘Automation Service Technician’, here.
The event was presided over by Director of Employment J&K, Nisar Ahmad Wani as the chief guest. He highlighted the paramount importance of skill development in bridging the gap between job seekers and the ever-evolving job market. His insights shed light on the immense opportunities this program brings to the participants.
Assistant Director of Employment, Nowshad Anjum Mir extended a warm welcome to the participants and dignitaries present, setting an enthusiastic tone for the occasion. He emphasized the significance of skill development in empowering individuals for a competitive job market.
The ‘Automation Service Technician’ training program aims to equip individuals with the essential skills and knowledge required in the field of automobile sector, a sector witnessing rapid growth. Participants can look forward to a comprehensive curriculum designed to enhance their employability and competitiveness in today’s dynamic job landscape.
This initiative exemplifies the commitment of the DE&CC, Anantnag and ITI Anantnag to empower the youth with the skills needed to secure a brighter future. The program is poised to make a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals, strengthening the workforce and contributing to the region’s economic development.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Imran Wajahat, Principal of ITI Anantnag, expressing gratitude to all attendees, trainers, and partners for their unwavering support in making this skill development initiative a reality.
In addition, Shazlia Qureshi, Career Counseling Officer, played a pivotal role in facilitating the event’s proceedings.
Later, the Director Employment visited the site of under construction building of DE&CC Anantnag at Bhaag Nowgam and thereafter took a detailed review under various deliverables vis-à-vis Registrations, Counselling, Job-fairs, and Unemployment Survey and directed the officers/officials to keep up with the pace and achieve the specified targets well in time.
