On the occasion, a grand function was organized at Indoor Sports Stadium Baramulla wherein Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Zahoor Ahmad Raina, Assistant Commissioner Revenue and other concerned officers inaugurated the Digi Mela 2023 and took part in other series of activities at the venue.
The event witnessed massive public participation along with PRIs, students and civil society members.

She also exhorted the concerned department heads to activate their online services and promote them by organizing campaigns in coordination with District Administration during celebrations of the Digital Week.
Later, Dr Sehrish paid inspection of various stalls installed by many departments including District Administration/Revenue Department, Agriculture, Horticulture, District Treasury, Motor Vehicles Department, District Industries Centre, banks and others to impart awareness to citizens about different government schemes and services being delivered through online mode so that they can avail benefits from all such public centric schemes.
