In the backdrop of banners, students raised fervent slogans that echoed the spirit of the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh Campaign,’ resonating across the nation. The compelling event witnessed enthusiastic participation of about 100 students and staff members of MV International School.
The rally concluded at the Samba District Administration Complex, where students from the cultural department staged a poignant Nukkad Natak (street play).
The theatrical performance encapsulated India’s journey from its struggle for independence to its current global prominence, attributing this success to robust policies and the selfless contributions of citizens. Officials from the District Samba administration were also present to witness this impactful portrayal.
The DC Samba lauded the School management for launching the consequential campaign. He commended the school for establishing an ‘Amrit Vaatika’ within its premises, dedicated to the memory of freedom fighters from District Samba.
Referring to the presentation of Nukkad Nataks, he applauded the institution’s commitment to artistic expression and social messaging.
As the event concluded, students from classes 7th and 8th distributed informative pamphlets and potted plants, shedding light on the campaign’s objectives and the significance of tree plantation.
