Doda: To finalise the arrangements for Digi- Mela being held from 31st of August 2023 to 2nd of September 2023, and Digital week from 31st of August to 6th of September, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda, Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti convened a meeting of district and sectoral officers at Conference Hall here.
The ADC highlighted that the government has introduced digital services to enhance public convenience and ensure transparency in service delivery to the citizens.
A diverse range of activities scheduled for the digital mela were thoroughly deliberated upon, along with strategies for the successful execution. It was informed that the Mela will be held in the Community Hall Doda town.
The ADC instructed all the departments to install their stalls at the venue for the awareness and online services delivery to the public. He underscored the importance of collaborative efforts among all departments to formulate a comprehensive plan that ensures an engaging and vibrant Digital Week celebration.
Moreover, a Digi-Van shall traverse throughout the district creating awareness and acquainting residents about various government programs and online services, thus enabling them to benefit from these community-focused initiatives.
