Doda: In continuation to its crackdown on illegal mining, the Geology and Mining Department on Monday seized 4 vehicles involved in illegal mining activities 2 each in Karara area & Thathri area of sub-division Thathri.
District Mining Officer (DMO) Sunil Kumar Manhas under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan, on the strict instructions of SSP Abdul Qayoom, orchestrated the operation with the cooperation of SHO Thathri Amit Katoch . The entire seizure operation was meticulously executed in accordance with the laws outlined in the Mineral Act.
