Khammam (Telangana): Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly criticized the administration of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), calling for his government to be removed from power and replaced by the BJP in Telangana.

Addressing a public gathering titled “Rythu Gosa-BJP Bharosa’ (Farmers’ Concerns and BJP’s Commitment) held at SR & BDNR College grounds here on Sunday, Shah expressed his views on the political landscape. He asserted that both the Congress and BRS parties revolve around family interests, with Congress serving Sonia’s family and BRS catering to the Kalvakuntla family.

Shah assured the people of Khammam that the upcoming elections would lead to KCR’s defeat and the BJP’s emergence with a majority.

Drawing attention to the Bhadrachalam temple’s significance, he criticized KCR for not offering silk vastrams to the Sree Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple during Srirama Navami, pointing out that his car reached Bhadrachalam but not the temple due to MIM’s influence. Shah indicated that this would change once a BJP Chief Minister is in power.

He criticized BRS for diverting the direction of Telangana’s aspirations, asserting that the KCR government is losing favor and will likely face defeat in the next election. Shah expressed optimism that the BJP’s influence will soon flourish in Telangana.

Comparing Congress and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governments, Shah highlighted the substantial differences in their agricultural support. While Congress allocated Rs 22,000 crores for farmers in the past, Modi’s administration now allocates Rs 1. 28 lakh crores for making agriculture profitable. He elaborated on other key points of differentiation in their policies, emphasizing the Modi government’s commitment to farmers and rural development.

Shah appealed to the people to recognize the need to overthrow the KCR government, which he characterized as “anti-farmer, anti-Dalit, anti-women, and anti-youth.” He urged them to vote for change by sending KCR home and electing the BJP into power.

The event featured participation from Union Minister for Culture & Tourism G. Kishan Reddy, BJP National General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar, M.P., BJP OBC Morcha National President Dr K Laxman, M.P., Ms D.K. Aruna, BJP National Vice President, and other notable leaders.
