Jammu: Government SPMR College of Commerce, in collaboration with Central University of Jammu, successfully concluded the six month skill oriented certificate course in Tourism Management under Tribal Youth Engagement Project Phase – 1.
The NSQF Level 4 course in Tourism Management trained the tribal students in the skills required for running different Tourism sector trades.
Upon successful completion of the course, the students appeared for both University Level examination conducted by Central University of Jammu on 23rd July, 2023 and the Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council Examination held on 25th August, 2023.
The College Principal Dr Surinder Kumar encouraged the students to take full benefit of the course to improve their employability skill. He also appreciated the efforts of the Skill Committee for successfully completing the course. The students were also encouraged by Prof Barbara Koul, Prof. Savita Jamwal, Dr. Sandhya Bhardwaj, Dr Parveen Singh and Prof Apfan Ali. The course was coordinated by Prof Shreya Sharma, Convenor Skill Committee, Dr. Fayza, Prof Charandeep Handa, Dr Roomi Rani, Prof. Anwar Ul Haq and Dr. Sarabjeet Kour Sudan.
