Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo on Thursday visited Regenya Mata Asthapan Shela at Raithan Khansahab, participated in annual Hawan and paid his obeisance at the holy place.
Kashmiri pandits thronged the temple from different parts of the country to participate in the religious function.
Pandit community expressed their gratitude to District Administration Budgam for making adequate arrangements for the smooth celebrations of religious function.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the entire District Administration, elected members of the area, locals of Raithan have wholeheartedly put in their efforts to ensure best facilities for the incoming pilgrims at the temple.
He said that the atmosphere of festivity and celebration joined in by all around the area is a very heartening sight.
The incoming pilgrims expressed their wholehearted appreciation to District Administration for all arrangements and help extended in the smooth organisation of the Mela.
