BGSBU Celebrates successful landing of Chandrayaan-3

Srinagar: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri on Wednesday celebrated the remarkable success of the Chandrayaan 3 lunar mission . The live telecast of the landing of the Chandrayaan 3 was screened in the campus. Prof. Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor of the University, watched the live telecast along with the senior functioners of the University in his office chamber. According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office BGSBU here, speaking on the occasion, Prof.Akbar said that the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the moon is a historic moment for the entire nation. Prof. Akbar congratulated the ISRO for creating history. Prof. Akbar said that with the successful landing mission, India has become the first nation to reach the south pole of the Moon. On the occasion Prof. Akbar distributed sweets among the staff.
