Jammu : Police on Monday said that it has devised a multi-pronged strategy in which police teams of Police Station Nagrota and Police Post Phallain Mandal acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective areas and seized four vehicles involved in illegal mining included one tractor trolley without Registration No by Police Station Nagrota, three Tractor Trolley one without Registration No and another two Tractor Trollies bearing Registration and Chassis No JK02CW-5750 and CZIDU530875S3, by PP Phallain Mandal.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu, Police said that the recoveries were made by SHO Police Station Nagrota Inspr Vishav Partap Singh and I/C Police Post Phallain Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal in their respective jurisdictions. Moreover, the DMO Jammu was also intimated about the action.
In the concluding para of it’s above quoted statement Police said that the mining was done in violation of order of J&K High Court, adding therein that in order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
