Jammu: Marking a major feat, five blocks of Jammu Division have been awarded for best performance in completion of PMAY G / Awaas plus.
Blocks of Marh, Bhaderwah, Loran, Gundhi Dharm and Gandri of District Jammu, Doda, Poonch and Ramban respectively were awarded for best performance at Samagra Awaas “AWAAS MEGA MAHOSATAV”- a national level two day event held in Srinagar from August 11, 2023.
Manoj Sinha, LG of J&K was the chief guest at the valedictory function of Samagra Awaas-“ Awaas Mega MAHOSATAV” held on August 12.
The Lt Governor congratulated the PRI members and all stakeholders of the department and felicitated the best performing blocks under PMAY-G for completion of houses and also the Districts with maximum convergence. He also handed over installment cheques to beneficiaries under PMAY-G.
