GDC Ajas orgainses Flag hoisting, singing of National Anthem progs

Bandipora : Govt. Degree College Ajas Bandipora organised Flag hoisting ceremony and singing of the National Anthem under the banner of Meri Maati Mera Desh, Maati Ko Naman, Veeron Ka Vandan.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Parveen Kousar and was attended by faculty members, staff, and students.
The national anthem was sung by the audience with great enthusiasm.
After the singing of the National Anthem, the principal delivered a speech in which she highlighted the importance of patriotism and national pride.
She urged the students to always remember their duty to the nation and to uphold its values.
The Flag hoisting ceremony and singing of the National Anthem was a great success. It was a day to celebrate the love for the nation and to reaffirm our commitment to its service.
The students of Govt. Degree College Ajas Bandipora have shown that they are proud citizens of India and that they are ready to serve their country with dedication.
Red Ribbon Club of SP College commemorates International Youth Day
Srinagar, August 12: Under the aegis of “Meri Maati Mera Desh,” Red Ribbon Club of Sri Pratap College to commemorate the International Youth Day, on Saturday organised a poster competition on the theme, “Green Skills for Youth: Towards Sustainable Growth”.
The key objective of the initiative is embarking on a green transition, a shift towards inculcating green skills in world population. More than 30 students participated in the event held in the Department of Zoology.
The students enthusiastically showcased their full potential and creativity in making posters pertaining to the theme.
The Convenor RRC, Prof. Saadat Hassan Kar presided over the event. The members of the Red Ribbon Club, Prof. Nuzhat Rehman, Prof. Mohd Altaf Sofi, Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Najar, Dr. Tabasum Ismail, Dr. Showkat Ahmad Wani, Prof. Javeria Khurshid and Dr. Qazi Ashiq Hussain actively coordinated the event which concluded with the distribution of participation certificates and felicitation of the first three winners.
Prof. Zaffar Majeed provided necessary IT support during the event.
