MSME DFO Jammu office organises Udyam Registration Camp at Reasi

Reasi : To promote and support Udyam registration in Jammu and Kashmir, MSME DFO, field office of union ministry of MSME organized an Udyam registration camp here in the DIC premises with active support & collaboration of GM DIC Reasi.
The objective of this registration camp was to inform the local entrepreneurs, including those from remote areas of the district about the importance of Udyam registration and its benefits available with various Govt. organizations.
The udyam registration has been introduced for Micro, Small & Medium enterprises registration, the three categories of industries classified in the new definition of MSMEs. These include Manufacturing, Service & Enterprise doing trading. The MSMEs classified as Manufacturing & Services are eligible for all the schemes & benefits extended by different government agencies including Banks. The industries registered as trading are exclusively eligible for priority sector lending benefits extended to various financial institutions including banks. Udyam registration is online, free of cost, paperless based on self-declaration & requires no upload documents.
The aim of the camp was to sort out the difficulties/issues faced by MSMEs. All queries raised during the camp were answered to the satisfaction of participating MSMEs. The participating MSME & GMDIC Reasi welcomed the steps taken by MSME DFO (J&K) for creating awareness & bringing the registered MSMEs into the registration which will make them eligible for availing Government Schemes like PMS, Cluster etc. Vinu Jee Koul Assistant Director headed the team of technical officers who organised the camp at Reasi.
Vinu Jee Koul, head of team, after conclusion of the camp informed the participants that MSME- DFO, Jammu J&K is ready to conduct similar camps in any district, if a specific request is made by DIC/ Industrial association in addition to the camp functioning on all workings days at MSME-DFO Jammu office premises.
