Srinagar : The Department of Libraries & Research has condoled the demise of Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah, father of Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Secretary, Tourism & Culture.
Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah breathed his last at his residence this morning and was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at Nishat.
A condolence meeting was held under the chairmanship of Director Libraries & Research, Mohammad Rafi at the Directorate of Libraries & Research here on Wednesday which was attended by all the officers and officials of the Department.
While extending deepest condolences to the bereaved family, the meeting prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family in this moment of grief.
