Burglary case solved in G’bal, 3 accused arrested, Stolen property also recovered: Police

Srinagar : Police on Wednesday said that it has solved a burglary case by arresting three accused persons involved in the commission of crime in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District and also recovered stolen property from their possession.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that on July 30, Police Station Safapora received a written complaint from one Nisar Ahmad Mir S/o Gh Ahmad Mir R/o Kumar Mohalla Safapora who alleged therein that during the night intervening 29th and 30th July some unknown burglars barged into his house and looted Cash worth lacs upon which the police accordingly registered a case under FIR No. 29/2023 under relevant sections of law at Police Station Safapora and initiated further investigation into the case.
Police in it’s statement said that after receiving the inputs the SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar constituted a special Police team led by incharge SHO Police Station Safapora under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Ganderbal who after hectic efforts and with some technical help, brought three suspected persons for questioning, adding therein that during questioning, the accused identified as Bilal Ahmad Guroo S/o Abdul Rashid Guroo R/o Sheikhzoo Shilwat, Hilal Ahmad Reshi S/o Mohd Ramzan Reshi R/o Pahlipora Safapora and one juvenile (name withheld) admitted their involvement in the commission of crime.
Stating that later upon the disclosure of the said accused stolen money of Rs.5,85,000/= (Five Lakh Eighty-Five Thousand Rupees Only) & 1 Cell Phone was recovered, Police in it’s statement further said that both the accused were taken into the Police custody and one accused juvenile was lodged in Juvenile home DPL Ganderbal, adding therein that investigation is going on and more arrests and recoveries are expected.
