Jammu: Ian Dev Singh, a senior Cricketer and former Captain of JKCA Ranji team has retired from all forms of domestic and national cricket, Meanwhile Member BCCI Sub Committee (JKCA) Brigadier (Retd) has wished him all the best.
In a tweet on Tuesday the Member BCCI Sub Committee (JKCA), Brigadier (Retd) Anil Gupta confirmed it on Twitter that Ian Dev Singh has retired from both national and domestic cricket. In his tweet Brigadier (Retd) Anil Gupta said Ian Dev Singh has been a prolific stroke maker and a reliable batsman, who had been the mainstay of JKCA Seniors team. He further said that JKCA wishes him all the best. Notably, Ian Dev Singh is an Indian cricketer who played predominantly as a batsman, and was captain of Jammu and Kashmir in the Ranji Trophy in 2013-14. Singh was born in Gandhinagar, Jammu and named after Ian Botham and Kapil Dev, his father’s two favourite cricketers.
